Compassionate, practical insights to bridge the gap between information and transformative care.
Whether you’ve been practicing for some time or just beginning, if you’re working with humans, you’re working with trauma. I’ve created these nugget sized teachings for you to build your confidence and competence. To practice in a healing centered, trauma conscious way, we have to start at the beginning, before the client has even arrived.
How do I understand human experience? How do I understand what is happening now? How do I respond?
I can draw on many disciplines without needing to present every part because of my foundations and ability to discern what each contribution can and cannot provide for a client. I might discuss developmental neurobiology with another therapist, with a client I might emphasize how early experiences affect the body and relationships, and when training, I would unpack the autonomic state, attachment, capacity, and the clinical implications of subtle body cues. The underlying lens stays consistent: ongoing interaction of physiological processes, developmental history, relationships, and environments emerge to create the human architecture. The processes can overlap and they shape our availability for capacity, connection, protection, adaptation, and recovery.

Trauma Conscious Minutes
Intentionally designed in a short format so you can get the information you need without the filler. Each 1 hour bundle is made up of 4-6 brief videos breaking down how to support clients and interactive options for you to engage in community or complete on your own.

“You piqued our interest, you relaxed us, and you gave us tools.”
